Listrak Fights Email Abuse with MAAWG
Leading email marketing service provider joins the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group to help ensure the deliverability of legitimate email messages
LITITZ, PA, Mar. 14, 2008 – Listrak, a leading email marketing solution provider based near Lancaster, PA, announced that it has joined the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (MAAWG) to help support its efforts of fighting spam, virus attacks, denial-of-service attacks, and other forms of email abuse. Listrak has joined MAAWG’s technical committee where it will further the enhancement, growth, and stability of the email marketing industry by sharing its knowledge and experiences. In return, Listrak will improve its understanding of best practices for list management and email deliverability so it’s in an even better position to help its customers strengthen their reputations and improve their deliverability.
MAAWG is a global organization with a broad base of ISPs and network operators representing nearly one billion mailboxes. The purpose of MAAWG is to bring the messaging industry together to work collaboratively and successfully address forms of messaging abuse. To accomplish this, MAAWG is developing initiatives in the three areas needed to resolve the messaging abuse problem: Collaboration, Technology, and Public Policy.
