Listrak Version 3.0 Includes Geo Tracking Capability Down to the State Level

Lititz, Pa.—October 13, 2005 - Listrak announced today the introduction of Geographical Tracking for email marketers. Listrak Geo Tracking is the first geographic tracking application in the email marketing industry and one of many innovative features of the Listrak V 3.0 hosted email marketing application.

Listrak Geo Tracking tracks email campaign performance data by geographical area and plots opens, reads and clicks by country and state on a visual map. Email marketers can now track and target their marketing messages by geographical location allowing them to better connect their brand with the region and lifestyle of their intended audience. The application can also be used to append or confirm demographic data on existing email lists and to verify the accuracy of a purchased email list.

Geographic targeting and tracking of email campaigns is possible through Listrak’s proprietary technology that matches an email address to a geographic location down to the state level using an IP address with 95-98% accuracy. Listrak matches purchased geographic IP data with its own campaign performance data.

The data is processed on Listrak’s servers and the company can report geographic location on a huge volume of data – millions of email addresses – in real time. The geographic information is then summarized for the marketer either as a graphic representation, i.e., a map, or a quantitative summary report.

Geo Tracking is a non-invasive way to track where your permission-based emails are being opened, read, clicked or converted and does not require any action by the recipient such as registration, or user activity such as online searches or web site visits.

Geo Tracking is part of Listrak Version 3.0 scheduled to be released on Monday, October 17, 2005. Listrak Version 3.0, the latest version of the Listrak hosted email marketing application, features an enhanced graphical user interface (GUI) based entirely on style sheets and built upon Asynchronous Java Script and XML, or Ajax. Ajax web applications are more advanced than traditional web applications as they appear as if they reside on the user’s computer, rather than hosted on a server on the Internet. The new GUI allows Listrak customers to customize their user experience with graphical themes of their choice. This new feature is appealing to customers who want to create their own branded customer experience. Additionally, Listrak Version 3.0 includes a new HTML editor and fully supports the Firefox browser on both PC and Mac platforms.
