Deliverability resources available:
A soft bounce occurs when the recipient's mail “bounces” back: the recipient’s server acknowledges the existence of the email address but cannot deliver the email at that moment in time due to a problem on the recipient’s end, such as their mailbox is full, the server is down or there is a network outage.
Because these problems are usually temporary, many emails will go through on the second or third delivery attempt. Listrak allows you to determine how it handles soft bounced messages. In the Pro or Enterprise account, you can choose either not to resend the message or you can set the number of days up to 14 that Listrak will automatically attempt to deliver it. Reviewing your previous message reports from that subscriber list will help you determine the approximate number of days you should set your soft bounce delivery.
Once the email is delivered, it is removed from the Listrak’s soft bounce report. Managing soft bounces is one way Listrak helps you keep your subscriber lists clean and your deliverability rates optimal.
