United On-Line owns three leading discount ISPs that include Juno, NetZero and BlueLight. All three ISPs offer dial-up only access.
The three ISPs share anti-SPAM measures and present similar challenges in deliverability. These providers use a combination of content filtering plus a fairly aggressive connection/quantity cap that will prevent delivery to mailboxes in these domains after a certain threshold is reached. To improve delivery rates to these providers it is suggested that you closely monitor your message content to avoid using words or phrases commonly
associated with SPAM. The quantity caps are more difficult to circumvent. The best plan is to throttle the number of concurrent connections and proactively monitor the volume of bounces you receive.
United On-line is the second ISP behind AOL to publicly announce the availability of a feedback loop. This means that United On-line will alert you to the users who report your campaigns as SPAM. You can then unsubscribe those users who are contributing to your non-delivery.
