Advanced Deliverability

Listrak offers one of the most advanced deliverability platforms available today. Marketers who want to ensure that their email campaigns reach their recipients' inboxes use Listrak to achieve some of the highest deliverability rates in the industry. Listrak has invested heavily in researching the different factors that cause deliverability problems, and has addressed each of these issues through a robust set of deliverability tools and methodologies available within the Listrak product. A sample of our tools and methodologies are described below.

b2c email marketingDedicated IP & Mailing Domain Name

When delivering email marketing campaigns through an ESP (Email Service Provider) such as Listrak, it is very important that the ESP is transparent -- meaning that no signs of the provider, the providers' other customers, or the complaints generated from the other customers, are visible to the ISP or recipient.

Listrak addresses these issues by allowing customers to send emails through their own unique IP Address and use a unique Domain Alias. Listrak gives you your own IP address so your email reputation is not tainted by another mailer's reputation.

Some ISPs also look at the reputation of the mailing domain as well as the domains of links placed within your campaign. To this end, Listrak recommends using a unique Domain Alias which is a DNS-based hostname such as “email.yourcompany.com.”

Throttled Approach

Listrak takes a throttled approach to sending email campaigns. We like to say, “it's not the quantity of your delivery, but the quality of your deliverability.” Listrak takes a best practice approach to the number of connections and overall messages that we deliver to certain ISPs within a certain time period. We leverage the relationships that we have with ISPs to understand the rate at which they want you to send mail to them.

ISP Relationships with Active Whitelisting Status

Listrak maintains whitelist status with top ISPs such as AOL, MSN/Hotmail, Yahoo, and United Online, which owns Juno, Netzero, and Bluelight.com. This status is derived through facilities provided by the ISPs as well as through relationships cultivated by the Listrak deliverability team members.

ISP Specific Deliverability Reporting

Listrak's ISP Delivery Report will detail your campaign deliverability performance by ISP so you can instantly see if you have a problem at a particular ISP. This report is seen by many industry experts as the most effective way to gauge and prioritize deliverability problems that may occur.

Abuse Reporting with Feedback Loops

An additional way that Listrak ensures delivery at larger ISPs is by utilizing an ISP's feedback loop. A feedback loop allows you to see all of the people who have clicked "Report Spam" at a particular ISP. By default, Listrak will automatically remove all recipients that click “Report Spam” from your list so that person is not negatively affecting your deliverability going forward.

Email Accreditation via Return Path, Habeas, and Goodmail

Listrak has partnered with leading email accreditation services to offer enhanced deliverability to mailers whose mailing reputation warrants acceptance into the given programs. For email marketers who posses positive reputations, accreditation services can enhance deliverability rates up to 20%.
